This was our third stay at the hotel. It was recently redecorated to a very high standard, which made this stay the best

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Virginie. Our room , which was built into the limestone cliff, was very spacious and clean, in addition to being very interesting. The gastronomic restaurant served excellent food at reasonable prices. Maxim, our sommelier, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

There was nothing that we did not like.

Wonderful

A fantastic experience in staying in a troglodyte room, the views out onto the Loire were also a delight. Marc Bredif is also next door so provides the perfect opportunity for a tour and wine tasting before walking back to our room. We ate at the hotel one evening and the food was excellent, as was the continental breakfast in the morning.

Unique property, beautiful location, friendly staff that could be more attentive to guests at meals.

Les Hautes Roches is a beautiful property, with a wonderful view on the Loire and a unique setting, built into the rock that is typical in the area. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and very willing to solve problems when they come up. The pool area is small but nice and you can order drinks to be brought to you there.

Unfortunately, the rooms were not air conditioned and it was extremely hot during our visit ... sleeping in the room was a challenge but the staff provided a fan for us to use during our stay. We had breakfast at the hotel every day and a celebratory dinner on one of the evenings. The quality/presentation of the food was very good. The staff could be much more attentive to guests at the restaurant - check on them more often to be sure they have what they need. We frequently ran out of coffee or water and had to search for a server to request more. For a property of this caliber, our expectations were a bit higher. The hotel is located in a very small town, with not too many alternative places to eat close by.

Location.

Room (15) was noisy and subject to loud vibrations from the adjacent space. Door frame height at foot of stairwell without warning causing me (6ft 2inches) to crack my head on the door frame and hurt myself.

Globalement, nous sommes satisfaits de votre hôtel, ainsi que du restaurant. Cependant pour nous, il conviendrait de revoir l'accès aux chambres, mon épouse gardera un mauvais souvenir de votre escalier. En chutant à la dernière marche * en contre-bas lors de notre départ, elle s'est fracturée (double fracture du pied gauche avec une immobilisation de 6 semaines, plâtre du pied jusque sous le genou) * il serait souhaitable de faire un palier en bas de cet escalier, pour éviter d'autres problèmes ! Cordialement.

« Séjour d'étape excellent »

Excellent hôtel dans lequel nous avons séjourné pour la deuxième fois (la dernière étape avant notre retour au pays) . Le personnel est extra. A la demande mon épouse nous avons été upgradé sans frais supplémentaires.

« Je ne reviendrais jamais. »

Très dommage malgré le lieu le personnel, surtout la réceptionniste très oppressante. Jugeante. Aucun tact concernant les problèmes de cartes. Les prix sont exorbitant pour la qualité du service. A la limite de l’arnaque. Un verre de rouge servi glacé à 16€. Honteux. Le petit déjeuner 22€ avec que du gluten pain chimique, une tranche de brioche un mini pain au chocolat et un croissant. Pas de salé. Un jus D’orange chimique acheté chez MÉTRO. La déco est passé et de mauvais goût malgré le droit dans les roches assez exceptionnel. Quel gâchis.
